With the Federal election looming, Nature Conservation Council NSW, together with the Willoughby Environmental Protection Association, is co-hosting an online candidates forum on 12 May: 7.30pm –9pm
The forum will give candidates the opportunity to state their position on taking action to deal with climate change and on other environmental issues that the Federal Government has the power to act upon, such as species protection and infrastructure funding for the Beaches Link Tunnel.
A major part of this forum will be focused on a Q&A to give you the opportunity to quiz candidates in more depth. All candidates need to know how important these issues are to their community.
Candidates who have agreed to attend (in alphabetical order):
Heather Armstrong (The Greens), William Bourke (Sustainable Australia Party - Stop Overdevelopment / Corruption), Catherine Renshaw (Labor), Kylea Tink (Independent).
Please only RSVP if you are a registered voter in the North Sydney electorate. Check here to see if you are a resident in the electorate
You must RSVP to attend this event. Once you have registered, you’ll receive an email with the Zoom link to attend the forum.
If your rsvp doesn’t arrive in your inbox almost immediately, please check your junk/spam.
