The Nature Conservation Council of NSW held its Annual Conference and AGM on Saturday 16th November 2024.
Being part of the environment movement in 2024 has not been without it's challenges. We've been fighting for nature and climate on many fronts and our opponents are powerful and well-resourced.
We have big historical wins, a lot of skills, and a lot of enthusiasm. But to be able to win the scale of change we need, we have to reach new audiences and bring in new people.
This is not something we say lightly: it will require a shift in our priorities and our skillsets.
That's why the theme for this year's NCC Annual Conference was "Branching out: growing the movement for nature" and we want you to be a part of this big conversation.
Inspiring speakers from our member group network and movement came together to share stories, reflections and lessons about the skills needed to grow our groups and further our reach.
