By submitting this pledge, you are supporting climate action and the aims of the Tabiea initiative. 

This pledge will help demonstrate the commitment that Western Sydneysiders have for climate action that will ensure a better future for our region and its communities. You will also be added to the NCC’s email list to receive relevant information when appropriate. 
   

I commit to: 

• Advocate for Climate Policies: I pledge to actively engage with policymakers and advocate for the implementation of effective climate policies, including measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect biodiversity, and promote climate resilience. 
   
• Support Renewable Energy: I pledge to support the transition to renewable energy sources by advocating for renewable energy policies, investing in renewable energy options where feasible, and encouraging others to do the same. 

• Reduce My Carbon Footprint: I pledge to take concrete actions to reduce my carbon footprint by minimising energy consumption, using public transport or carpooling whenever possible and making sustainable choices in my daily life. 
   
• Raise awareness: I pledge to raise awareness about the urgency of climate action and the importance of environmental conservation by sharing information, participating in community events, and engaging in discussions about climate change. 
   
• Support Climate-friendly initiatives: I pledge to support organisations, like the NCC, and initiatives that are working towards climate solutions, whether through volunteer work, donations, or other forms of support. 
   
• Hold myself accountable: I pledge to hold myself accountable for my environmental impact and to continuously seek ways to reduce it. I will regularly assess my actions and adjust as needed to align with my commitment to climate action. 
   

Together, Let’s Protect Our Planet: By taking this pledge, I am joining a global community of individuals who are committed to protecting our planet for future generations. Together, we can make a difference and build a more sustainable world.
