The Nature Conservation Council is holding a series of picnics across NSW to promote environmental issues and groups in their location. Save Our Macleay River (SOMR) is leading the organisation of ‘The Macleay Picnic for Nature’ with some other groups attending. ‘The Macleay Picnic for Nature’ is being held in conjunction with the Gladstone Quality Markets on Sunday 16 October from 9.00am until 2.00pm. 

Please come and join us with your picnic tucker and beverages from the many wonderful vendors there and chat about environmental issues in the Macleay & Kempsey area, as well as any other topic you want to yarn about!
