Lithgow Environment Group invite you to our special day celebrating nature - won't you join us? Meet us at Newnes Hotel/Cabin and Camping Grounds on Sunday 16th of October at midday. Options are available for an overnight stay in either the cabin or campgrounds if you want to stay the night. The location is on private land, but is surrounded by National Parks. Bring your food, drinks, blankets, chairs, musical instruments, poetry, books, camera and/or games, and we'll be sure to have a good time! Dogs are welcome, on leashes only. Help us form a human "nature" sign - let's show nature that we care!
Matt Bird is an award-winning filmmaker with a long standing connection to the Greater Blue Mountains — and Newnes in particular — dating back to his early childhood. The event will be a wonderful opportunity for Matt to literally put the focus on nature conservation by capturing like-minded people creating the word NATURE from the skies above the majestic surroundings of Newnes, Wolgan Valley. Find out more about Matt's work here: www.mattbird.com.au
- Staying at home if you are feeling unwell or have flu-like symptoms on or before the day of the event.
