The Lane Cove Bushland and Conservation Society, Lane Cove Sustainability Action Group, Doctors for the Environment, Friends of Lane Cove National Park and the Total Environment Centre would like to invite you to attend this Candidate Forum to be held online at 7pm on Thursday 23 February 2023
We believe that Lane Cove needs candidates for the forthcoming State Election (on 25 March) who recognise that a healthy, sustainable environment is essential for the health and well-being of the people of our electorate and NSW.
The purpose of the forum is to provide an opportunity for voters to hear and understand the Lane Cove candidates’ positions on important local and state environmental issues.
The meeting is being organised in collaboration with the Nature Conservation Council of NSW.
On the night we will be asking each candidate to speak briefly about their environmental policies, and to respond to a set of questions circulated prior to the event. There will be an opportunity for questions from the floor, time permitting.
