Co-hosted by: Ryde Hunters Hill Flora and Fauna Preservation Society, Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre, The Habitat Network
On the 16th of October this year, we'll be holding our first Picnic for Nature where communities across the state will come together to host and hold picnics to celebrate nature. But this is more than just a fun day of getting outside with family and friends. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty and biodiversity of your local area and a chance for you to connect with your community.
Ryde Hunters Hill Flora and Fauna Preservation Society, Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre, and The Habitat Network are co-hosting a Picnic for Nature at Field of Mars Reserve, Gladesville from 10am-4pm. They have an amazing program organised, including environmental displays, guided bushwalks, a BBQ lunch and activities for children. Bring a picnic lunch and something to sit on. And don't forget your family and friends. Come along. It's going to be a great day.
Please note that your RSVP information will be shared with co-host organisations.
