Broken Hill Picnic for Nature [Postponed - October 30th]

Notice: this event has been postponed to Sunday October 30th 9am-1pm, due to flooding at the picnic site.

Co-hosted by: Broken Hill Landcare, Barrier Field Naturalists Club

On Sunday the 16th of October the Nature Conservation Council and affiliated organizations are holding picnics to celebrate nature and efforts to protect and conserve it.

The Barrier Field Naturalists’ Club (known and serial picnickers and flaneurists) will be joining in with an extra walk and picnic. We will as usual meet at the Visitors Information Center at 9.00 am. In convoy will will drive to Dave Elstons place about 25km out the Sydney Rd and set up a picnic site on Stephens Creek. We will then have a leisurely stroll around the numerous points of interest. After which we will boil the billy and picnic. Please bring food to share, a comfortable folding chair and your stories.
