Locals on the ground need your help to block the Peabody Wilpinjong Coal Mine expansion!

As we wait for the hearing to assess the Moolarben coal mine expansion proposal, the government is powering ahead with coal expansion in the Mudgee region. Right next to Moolarben is Wilpinjong coal mine, and Peabody is proposing to expand their mine right to the northern boundary of the Wollar village. This would destroy Wiradjuri cultural heritage, decimate a biodiversity hotspot for critically endangered Regent Honeyeaters and threatened microbats, and threaten the community of Wollar.
