An evening of storytelling and art focusing on the international implications of Australia’s coal. We’ll use poetry, stories and dance to bring to light our connections to climate and vision a future beyond coal.
The evening will premiere a documentary filmed on Wiradjuri country about NSW’s biggest producing coal mine and the intergenerational, cross cultural solidarity to stop it, focusing on the 13 migrant leaders from voices for power who travelled to coal country to witness the mine.
The space is migrant led, for migrant and descendants of migrants, to weave together the stories of climate impacts, and solutions in our diaspora communities.
