Thousands of hectares of wildlife habitat, including koala forests, will be obliterated under proposed changes now before state parliament. The NSW Government wants to let landowners bulldoze 25m of bushland without even assessing the impact that will have on wildlife. Koalas are already struggling after the bushfires. This law will push them closer to extinction.
