In September, councils across NSW will be going to the polls. Local councils have a huge bearing on the ecological sustainability of communities across the whole of NSW, through development controls, managing vital community assets, and resource recovery. The 2024 council elections will be a great opportunity for well-organised community groups to affect lasting positive change for nature and the climate.
So we're putting together a policy platform to help make this happen — but we need your help!
Join us on April 10th to contribute to the local council election policy platform for the NSW environment movement. The NCC policy platform will describe the most impactful actions that council candidates across the state can commit to. This document will be the cornerstone of our Local Government Election campaign - and that of many member groups across NSW.
