NSW koalas in crisis

Your chance to input into NSW Koala Strategy

The NSW Government is currently reviewing the NSW Koala Strategy, and are seeking input on a discussion paper to shape the updated strategy. Koalas in NSW are in a perilous position, on a road to extinction by 2050 if nothing changes. They face threats from disease, car strike, dog attack, and habitat loss at a large scale.

Stopping habitat loss is the quickest and most effective way of protecting koala populations.

Come along to this webinar to hear how you can have your say in prioritising habitat protection for koalas. Presenters are Dailan Pugh from North East Forest Alliance and Bev Smiles from Mudgee District Environment Group.

They will talk about some of the key drivers of habitat loss- logging and mining, and how your submission can call for an end to them.
