NSW Environment Awards 2024

Nature Conservation Council of NSW is thrilled to announce the return of the NSW Environment Awards 2024.

You're invited to join us for the night where we celebrate the outstanding commitment and achievement of campaigners, grassroots environmentalists and conservation groups across the state.

Across NSW, so many dedicate their time, energy and expertise to the protection and restoration of nature. It would be impossible to celebrate all the amazing people fighting to give nature a voice, but as the leading voice for nature in NSW, we can certainly try to shine a spotlight on some of them.

You can secure your Ticket to the Awards here - NSW Environment Awards 2024 | Humanitix

As well as attending in person or online you might know of a group or individual you would like to recognise for their work in protecting nature. Nominations are now open – and will close on Thursday 29 February 2024. You can submit your nomination online here

There are seven award categories - Environment Awards 2024 - Nature Conservation Council of NSW

Wendy Harmer has agreed to be our MC for the evening – so there will be a few laughs. We have also secured our judging panel – Geogina Woods who was the winner of the Jack Mundey Environment Award in 2021 and Takesa Frank, a young First Nations woman who is an environmental activist and a member of the Broman State Forest Conservation Group. NCC Chair Carolyn Loton will also be a judge along with CEO Jacqui Mumford.
