Election 2023 Policy Assessment

In the lead up to the 2023 NSW state election, the Nature Conservation Council and the Total Environment Centre assessed the policies of political parties and candidates. 

To see the results of this assessment, go to our scorecards page. 

Parties and candidates were sent a policy survey to determine whether they would commit to the policies that nature needs. 

Based on the responses to this survey, parties were rated either as supporting the policy (tick), making substantial progress in the policy area (1/2), or not supporting the policy (cross).
