Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA) and The Willoughby Environmental Protection Association, supported by Parents For Climate, ACF and Nature Conservation Council NSW are hosting an evening to listen and question the candidates for Bradfield in the upcoming Federal Election on climate, health and the environment.
Facilitated by Laureate Professor Nick Talley Gastroenterologist and Board Chair DEA, attending candidates are:

Our Facilitator

Laureate Professor Nicholas Talley: is a gastroenterologist and public health physician, researcher and educator. Nick is a Past President of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians where he became very active in advocating about the serious health impacts of climate change, and promoting adaptation and mitigation by the health system and the community.
The Candidates
Nicolette Boele: is a community independent candidate. Nicolette grew up in Bradfield and is raising her family there. Nicolette will draw on her experience in finance, clean energy and government to hold the government to account. She will advocate for common-sense reforms that improve the lives of people in our community and across the country.
Gisele Kapterian: is the Liberal candidate for Bradfield. Gisele is the daughter of migrant parents. Gisele grew up and continues to live in North Willoughby. Gisele will fight for local families, assist small and family businesses and deliver investment for the services and infrastructure that our community needs.
Louise McCallum: is the Labor candidate for Bradfield. Having lived and raised a family on the North Shore for the past 15 years, Louise is engaged every day with local concerns and is a dedicated and active member of Bradfield's community. She is passionate about maintaining the community's values of unity and respect, and believes that education and achievement leads to a stronger, more prosperous community.
Harjit Singh: is a dedicated advocate for social justice, sustainability, and economic fairness, running as a federal Greens candidate to address local, national, and international challenges. Harjit fervently champions human rights, fair treatment for asylum seekers, government transparency, and global climate justice. He is ready to be a strong voice, ensuring policies benefit all Australians and promote international justice and sustainability leadership.
