Last year the Government created a dirty bill to make it easier for coal and gas projects to get the green light in NSW. Greenhouse gas emissions from burning coal and gas are driving the climate crisis. They heat up the planet, causing drier and hotter conditions. Knowing what was at risk, we fought back! Hundreds of us rallied outside Parliament to stand up against this disastrous bill and thousands made submissions against the bill. Now, the committee of MPs listened and have called on the NSW Government to keep our laws that hold polluters to account.
