How we determined the scores 

NCC did not conduct a survey of parties, but instead synthesised the excellent work of national groups such as the Australian Conservation Foundation, and the Climate Council. You can see their detailed survey results and analyses on their websites. We then assessed this data on four key themes that matter to our members in NSW. 

Not an endorsement 

NCC is a fiercely independent nonpartisan charity and our scorecard is not an endorsement or rejection of any party or candidate. Rather, it’s an assessment of how the parties’ climate and environment policies and records stack up.
