No nukes for NSW
The National Party is pushing hard to legalise uranium mining, nuclear power stations and radioactive waste dumps in NSW.

Nuclear energy is a dirty, dangerous and expensive distraction from the urgent work of tackling global heating by replacing coal power with wind, solar and storage.
Uranium mining, nuclear power stations and radioactive waste dumps are currently illegal in NSW because they pose a massive risk to human health and the environment.
The people of NSW don’t want nuclear and they don’t need it.
Wind and solar are by far the cheapest, cleanest and most sustainable way to meet our energy needs and they offer regional areas a very bright future.
I call on all members of the NSW Parliament to maintain the ban on uranium mining and nuclear facilities by rejecting the Uranium Mining And Nuclear Facilities (Prohibitions) Repeal Bill.
I also call on MPs to support measures to rapidly deploy clean energy technologies in NSW, including wind, solar and storage.
